KENT COUNTY COUNCIL ROMNEY ROAD, LYDD TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Kent County Council gives notice that for the safety of the public and workforce during roadworks, a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30 MPH will be imposed on a section of Romney Road, Lydd. UK Power Networks - Temporary Road Closure - Coast Drive, Lydd On Sea - 21st February 2025 (Folkestone and Hythe District) Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to close part of Coast Drive, Lydd On Sea, from 21st February 2025 with estimated completion by 21st February 2025. Coast Drive, Lydd On Sea, will be closed outside number 20 to outside number 22, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternative route for any through traffic is via Coast Drive, Kerton Road, Dungeness Road, Battery Road and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
