KCC BEGGARSBUSH LANE, OLD ROMNEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2) Kent County Council gives notice that Beggarsbush Lane, Old Romney will be closed to through traffic, on or after 30th October 2025 for up to 5 days. The road will be closed between junction Wheelsgate Lane and Coldharbour Lane. Kent County Council - Footway Maintenance in Your Area. Footway Surface Preservation (Slurry Sealing) The Green, Lydd, Romney Marsh. When we plan to carry out the work and how long it will take? This is to let you know that, as part of the on-going maintenance and improvement of the highway network, Kent County Council will be working to improve sections of the footway surfaces of The Green to include linking sections of Green Way. What we plan to do and when As a surface treatment, these works are carried out quite quickly in each area we work, they are programmed to commence on the 21/10/2025 and should be completed by the 24/10/2025.
